1 SOFTWARE SUPPORT

1.1 JaggedStudios provided Products

In addition to section 3.2 of our Terms and Conditions, JaggedStudios does not provide any warranty or indemnification against damage, loss of data or other effects impacting computers or computer related equipment including databases caused by the installation of any JaggedStudios Products.

1.2 Installation by Responsible Party

JaggedStudios recommends the installation of its Products by a resource suitably trained and proficient in the use of computers with a clear understanding of computer security, operations, maintenance and management. Installation of any Product supplied by JaggedStudios remains at the users risk.

1.3 Technical Issues

JaggedStudios will provide a support mechanism for aiding users who experience issues with a Product supplied by JaggedStudios. JaggedStudios will seek to resolve the issue within a timely manner but provides no guaranteed turn-around timeframe for the resolution of any specific issue. In addition:

  • (a) Issues that cannot be replicated will be treated as outside the capability of support.
  • (b) Issues that are identified as user usability issues will be classified as training issues.

In order to facilitate support, JaggedStudios will maintain and collect user experience data. This data will be used to understand how the Product is being used and to assist in the support and maintenance of the Products. Where support issues require it, JaggedStudios reserves the right to make a copy of the data being utilised within the Product specifically for support purposes. Where a copy is made, JaggedStudios will retain this copy only for the duration of any said support activity following which the copy will be permanent deleted.

JaggedStudios works with a number of hardware providers but does not provide support for any hardware, computer peripheral, network device or any other device connected, networked or related to computing technology, including Virtual Reality equipment.
